Important Legislative Update: Minnesota Bill 696 

Senators in Minnesota are reviewing Senate File 696 (SF 696), a bill that would allow eyelash technicians and salons that solely provide eyelash extensions to operate without being licensed. This is an effort to reduce regulations in the cosmetology industry. Requiring licenses ensures that the necessary education, training, and techniques, including health and safety, are used to protect the provider and customer. You can view SF 696 here.

SF 696 is currently with the State Government Finance and Policy and Elections Committee.
