Cancer Survivor Beauty and Support Day is an annual event held on the first Tuesday in June. Established in 2003 and permanently recognized by honorary proclamation (Resolution #494) in Congressional records since 2009, this is a day for salons and spas to offer complimentary beauty services to all cancer survivors. It is not a charity and there is absolutely no fundraising; beauty professionals offer the complimentary services of their choice. The real beauty of the day is the support it gives to survivors.
