Over the past two years, Associated Hair Professionals (AHP) has embarked on an extensive journey to understand our members better and realign our brand with our members’ needs and aspirations. Now, we are excited to unveil our new brand identity. This rebranding is more than a new logo; it reflects our renewed mission to support all the creative entrepreneurs in the hair industry—to put you, the stylists and barbers we serve, first.
Gathering Grassroots Feedback
Our rebranding journey began with a fundamental question: What do our members truly want from their association? To answer this, we put in the hard work by gathering data, conducting research, and engaging in one-on-one conversations with stylists and barbers across the country. We wanted to hear directly from you—the professionals at the heart of our community.
What we have known but has been solidly confirmed is that stylists and barbers are some of the hardest working people. You are entrepreneurs, skilled craftspeople, and lifelong learners. You’re always pressed for time—often working through lunch and grabbing a bite between clients—and there’s no time for confusing policies or complicated offerings. We need to be direct and to the point, with useful resources like straightforward liability insurance, career support, and legislative advocacy.
