The video "Peek-a-Boo Pink" demonstrates a hair coloring technique featuring a peekaboo style with added pink color. The final look is a vibrant peekaboo style that can be styled in various ways.
Steps:
- Preparation: The stylist sections out a slice of hair from the nape and applies a heavy conditioner to help hold the foil.
- Lightening Process: A diagonal slice is created above the first section, with a powder lightener and 30 volume developer applied to lift the natural level 6 hair to level 8. This process is repeated on both sides of the head, with careful saturation of the hair with lightener.
- Color Application: Once the desired lift is achieved, the foils are removed and the sections are sprayed with water. A fashion color (Joico in Magenta) is applied to the previously lightened hair, ensuring complete saturation.
- Processing and Final Touches: The color is processed in foils for 20 minutes before rinsing. The hair is then dried completely.
- Styling: Using a 1.5-inch curling iron, the stylist curls the hair in alternating directions, allowing the curls to cool before shaking them out for a loose finish. A light hold hairspray and shine spray are applied to set and enhance the curls.
